Western NSW

I was out here to further research more of my father's biography and get some photos. All in all a low-key expedition but got some great wildlife shots and as the area was gripped by a severe drought it was an enormous contrast with the coast where I was a few weeks before. The Warrumbungle National Park has great geology and the ability to get close to kangaroos and koalas 'in the wild' is stunning.

Valla Beach - Northern NSW

Great area for beach and kelp photography. If you go diving just to the north in the Solitary Islands you can experience the interface between the temperate environments from the south on the southern sides of the islands and coral reef 'veneers' of life on the north side of the islands.
